About the Macopin Fire Co.
Known as the "Black Sheep" The Macopin Vol. Fire Co. was established in 1927 to protect life and property in West Milford Township, Passaic County New Jersey. We are located approximately 40 miles northwest of New York City.

We are one of six Fire Company's that serve the residents of West Milford Township. We are trained to handle a wide array of incidents including Fire Fighting, Rescue (vehicle extrication, ice rescue, swift water rescue, high angle and S.A.R.) and Haz-mat.
We have a membership
of 33 Volunteer Firefighters. New members are always welcome just stop by the Firehouse
