MVA with Entrapment 3-08-07
On
March 8, 2007 at about 9:50 pm, we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident
with entrapment on Highlander Dr.
Two people were injured in the accident, the driver was able
to get out on their own, but the passenger was trapped in
the
front passenger side of the
vehicle.
Rescue 4 arrived on scene and began to work with the
"Jaws
of Life" to free the trapped victim.
The driver was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital by the West Milford
First Aid Squad. Once the second victim was extricated from the vehicle he was
transported to the landing zone then flown to Morristown Memorial Hospital by
Atlantic Air 1 Medevac.
